Taxi with Cooking Oil Fuel
London - British government plans to look for alternative renewable fuel that can replace fossil earth seems to have started to be felt. Because 1,000 units more than 21,000 taxis in London are now utilizing the fuel from cooking oil.
Alternative fuel is of course very friendly environment in the City of London because it has lower emissions of carbon dioxide and excess in the city.
As reported by inautonews, Thursday (10/13/2011) materials used cooking oil collected in London taxi companies collectively from fast food restaurants.
During the first week of 30,000 liters of cooking oil collected is then sold to the second station fuel oil that is now available in London. Environmentally friendly fuel that can produce this biofuel can come from various sources ranging from animal fats, vegetable oils, and even tree spacing.
"In addition to local products, cooking oil is cheaper than gasoline, more economical and better for the engine," said one taxi driver in London.
During the cooking oil fuel use, CO2 emissions have dropped by 80 percent according to bio-fuel company. If this is passed it is not impossible weather conditions in London's increasingly bright.
As information restaurants in the UK at least throw between 50-90 million liters of cooking oil, and most end up in landfills. If this use of the soil conditions in the UK will also gradually getting cleaner.
