New Mitsubishi PX-MiEV Concept II 2012 Review
This is an updated version of the PX-MiEV concept. This crossover has the engine plug-in hybrid powertrain with a capacity of 2,000 cc and two electric motor-powered 60 kW (80 hp). Each motor works on any axle both front and rear.
At low speeds, the car was working in the mode electric vehicle (EV) up to speeds of 50 km / hour. When the battery is nearly depleted, the car is entering a serial hybrid mode where the machine only works for charging only.
At high speeds, on the freeway, the PX-MiEV II will enter a parallel hybrid mode where the engine and electric motor work together, producing a driving force of this car.
Because of technology, Mitsubishi estimates that the car was able to obtain a combination of fuel consumption by up to 60 km / liter. While the mileage reaches 800 km, of course, with fuel tank filled.
