Diesel Engine from Volkswagen
Volkswagen introduced two new machines that will fill the VW lineup this year. One of them is coded EA211 engine which is a 4-cylinder diesel engine equipped first-inactivity Penon cylinder. This machine will be used first in the Volkswagen Polo and go on sale this summer in Europe.
The next engine, VW introduced the EA288 engine that has been presented at the Cross Coupe concept TDI plug-in hybrid at the Geneva Motor Show last. EA288 series TDI turbodiesel engine has a capacity range between 1,600 cc to 2,000 cc.
EA288 diesel engine would seem to be the most popular and will be present as in the Volkswagen Jetta TDI. This machine is capable of producing 190 hp and 380 Nm of torque 2.0-liter engine capacity. This means an increase from the previous 140 hp and only 320 Nm of torque. It is hoped this new machine would be more efficient. Besides enabling the development of materials do not need to replace the timing belt, and faster heating process when the cold weather conditions.
