Five years ago, Cadillac has no sales at all in China. Last year, they were able to sell up to 30,000 units in the China market, thanks to cutting import duties of cars imported by the government. The number of GM sales represented growth of over 70% from 2010. The demand for Cadillac in China is very high and rising, one solution for sales has helped create even more is to assemble its own in China.
