Gait last Toyota at Le Mans 24 hours with the GT-One car in 1990. Now Toyota will again perform at Le Mans next year with a hybrid-engined racing car new.
Alloy gasoline engines with electric motors serve targeted will be paired on the LMP1 chassis made by Toyota Motorsport in Cologne, Germany. Machine to be used, imported directly from Toyota Motor Corporation, Japan.
"Toyota is following the Le Mans ever before. But with this hybrid technology, a new challenge. We want to make a breakthrough at the Le Mans 24 hours, through the use of our hybrid technology," said Tadashi Yamashina, Toyota Motor Corporation and Senior Managing Officer of Toyota leaders Motorsport.
This new hybrid race car will be displayed at the beginning of 2012. Then this car will undergo various tests and tortures, Le Mans before the session begins.
