Full-size truck segment is one that is beneficial to car manufacturers in the U.S., in addition to SUVs and midsize sedan. No wonder a lot of manufacturers who also pushed into this segment. Both car brands American and non-American. One of the non-American manufacturer that went into this class is the Toyota Tundra through superior models.
Since it was launched in 1999, the car was able to achieve success in the land of Uncle Sam. Unfortunately, until now, the Tundra has not been able to become a leader in its class. Ford F-150 has been the king in this segment for 36 years, followed by the Chevrolet Silverado. For that, at this time the Chicago Auto Show, Toyota introduced the latest generation Tundra.
The revamp is happening quite significant. Both the exterior and interior of the car. For the exterior, the new Tundra comes with a large grille, as in previous generations. But Toyota designers changed pattern lines on the grille that looks more modern cars.
If you select 1794 Edition will get a grille with clear lines that look more manly. The main light has a slick new design. Toyota also provides a choice of three engines for the Tundra. The first engine capacity of 4000 cc V6 that produces 278 hp. Later variants capacity of 4600 cc V8 engine with 310 hp. And the most is the capacity of 5700 cc V8 engine capable of producing maximum power up to 381 hp.
Toyota Tundra will go on sale in September in the United States.
